Kathmandu, April 12: Nepal Oil Corporation (NOC) recorded a profit of Rs 9.55 billion in the fiscal year 2024/25. The announcement was made during the Corporation’s 43rd Annual General Meeting held on Friday.
During the fiscal year, the state-owned enterprise imported petroleum products worth Rs 356.72 billion and generated sales revenue of Rs 364.52 billion. In comparison, NOC had sold petroleum products worth Rs 383 billion in the previous fiscal year 2023/24.
NOC, which holds a monopoly over the import and distribution of petroleum products in Nepal, continues to ensure the nationwide supply of fuel.
