Kathmandu, March 29: The weather is expected to be partly cloudy in the hilly regions of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali, while the rest of the country will remain mostly clear. This is due to the partial influence of westerly winds combined with local winds, according to the Meteorological Forecasting Division.

By this afternoon, hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces will also experience partly cloudy conditions, while other regions will remain mostly clear. There is a chance of light rain with lightning in isolated areas of the hills and light snowfall in some high-altitude regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy over the hilly areas of Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpaschim provinces, while the rest of the country will have clear weather. Light rainfall with lightning is possible in one or two places in the hilly regions of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.
