Belauri – Sitaram Rijal, the Chairperson of Ward No. 3 of Belauri Municipality, passed away last night at the age of 72. He had been suffering from lung-related ailments.

According to his family, Rijal’s final rites will be performed this afternoon at the Aryaghat in Bhakunda, Belauri.

Rijal was elected as the ward chair in the 2079 BS local level election. Tragically, his wife, Dil Kumari Rijal, had passed away during the same election period.
