Kathmandu, March 1: The HPV vaccination campaign against cervical cancer, which was temporarily halted in mountainous districts due to adverse weather, is set to resume on Sunday. Heavy snowfall in districts such as Manang, Mustang, Dolpa, and Humla had disrupted the immunization drive.

According to Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, vaccinations will be administered in Manang, Mustang, and Humla on Monday, while Dolpa will receive the doses on March 6.

The nationwide campaign, conducted from February 4 to 18, successfully achieved 92% of its target, the ministry reported.
