‘My School, My Responsibility’ Campaign Launched in Palpa

Palpa, Feb 22: The ‘My School, My Responsibility’ campaign has been launched to enhance the quality of community schools in Lumbini Province.
The first phase of the campaign kicked off simultaneously in 17 schools across all 12 districts of the province, including Palpa, under the leadership of the Ministry of Social Development of Lumbini Province on Friday.
Health Minister Khem Bahadur Saru, a former student of Janata Secondary School in Tansen, inaugurated the campaign in Palpa.
During the launch, Minister Saru expressed confidence that the campaign would play a crucial role in encouraging former students, local representatives, and parents to take responsibility for improving the quality of education in community schools. "The main goal of the campaign is to inspire interest in community schools and foster a sense of responsibility," he stated. "I believe that if alumni take an active role, many improvements can be made in the schools."
He also emphasized the importance of shifting away from negative narratives and focusing on instilling hope and trust by delivering tangible improvements for the people.
