AFP – The White House announced Friday that Ukraine is set to sign a minerals access agreement with Washington "very soon," despite President Volodymyr Zelensky’s earlier rejection of the deal over security concerns.

"Here’s the bottom line—President Zelensky will sign that deal, and you’ll see it happen in the very near future. This is a win for Ukraine," said U.S. National Security Advisor Michael Waltz during the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) near Washington.
