Mahottari, Feb 10: CPN (Maoist Centre) Chairman and former Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has reiterated his strong commitment to promoting good governance, prosperity, and social justice.

Speaking at a program held on Monday to mark the 22nd anniversary of the Adharsheela Commune in Bardibas Municipality-3, Mahottari district, Prachanda emphasized his party's renewed focus on community engagement.

"We recently concluded the party's central committee meeting. Moving forward, we will prioritize community-based activities. As part of this effort, we are launching a campaign to connect with people along the Postal Highway starting February 24," he said.

Prachanda highlighted that the campaign aims to strengthen the party's ties with local communities. He underscored the importance of social integration, asserting that political, economic, and cultural transformations remain incomplete without it. He urged grassroots party committees to adopt well-planned, people-focused initiatives.

He also announced plans to establish more communes like Adharsheela across the country, describing it as a commendable model for socialism.

On the same occasion, CPN (Maoist Centre) Assistant General Secretaries Matrika Yadav and Girirajmani Pokhrel stressed the need to overcome factionalism within the party and advance the goals inspired by the Adharsheela Commune.

Founded in 2003 under the leadership of Girirajmani Pokhrel and others, the Adharsheela Commune currently accommodates 16 households.
