Kathmandu, Dec 29 – Despite a partial impact of the western low-pressure system, most regions across Nepal are expected to experience fair weather today, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology (DHM).

The DHM's early morning bulletin indicates that the hilly areas of Koshi Province will see partly cloudy skies, while the majority of the country will remain clear.

However, some upper hilly and mountainous regions of Karnali, Gandaki, and Koshi Provinces are likely to witness light snowfall. Similarly, one to two locations in the high-altitude areas of Sudurpaschim and Bagmati Provinces may also experience snowfall.

Isolated pockets in the hilly regions across the country could see light rainfall.

The DHM has urged travelers and residents in the mountainous regions to remain cautious as snowfall may cause disruptions in movement and affect daily activities. Meanwhile, fair weather is expected to prevail in most other areas, making it a favorable day for outdoor activities.
