Kathmandu, Nov 28: The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has reported a general influence of westerly winds across the country, resulting in partly cloudy conditions in the hilly regions and clear skies elsewhere. Foggy conditions have been observed in parts of the Tarai region and a few locations in the hills.

According to the Meteorological Forecasting Division, the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces are experiencing partial cloud cover, while the rest of the country remains largely clear. There is a likelihood of light rainfall in isolated parts of the hilly areas of these provinces, along with light snowfall in a few high hilly and mountainous areas.

For tonight, similar weather patterns are expected, with partial cloud cover in the hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Light rain is also possible in isolated locations of Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

In the next 24 hours, light to moderate rainfall may occur in isolated parts of the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces. Light snowfall is also likely in a few high hilly and mountainous regions within Koshi and Gandaki provinces.

Considering the potential impact on agriculture, health, tourism, mountaineering, road conditions, and air transport, the Department has advised everyone to take necessary precautions to ensure safety.
