Due to the continuous rainfall on October 10, 11, and 12, the flood in the Sunkoshi River damaged the suspension bridge connecting Ward No. 4 of Khadadevi Rural Municipality in Ramechhap and Ward No. 6 of Sunkoshi Rural Municipality in Sindhuli at Puchighat.
Students are risking their safety to cross this bridge daily to attend Dirgha Pradim Secondary School in Khalte, Sindhuli. A total of 28 students from grades 6 to 12, as well as farmers harvesting ripe paddy, are forced to use this bridge for their daily commute. Photo: Ramesh Dhungel / RSS
