Death Toll Rises in Myanmar Earthquake

A total of 103 bodies have been recovered and 52 people rescued from the rubble of the collapsed Sky Villa condominium in Mandalay, central Myanmar, following a devastating earthquake that struck the country on March 28.
According to the Global New Light of Myanmar, rescue operations have been ongoing at the site since the day of the disaster, with coordinated efforts by the Myanmar Rescue Team, the Mandalay Region Fire Services Department, and regional government personnel.
The powerful earthquake, one of the deadliest in the country's recent history, has claimed 3,759 lives and left 5,107 others injured across the nation. As of Tuesday, 114 people remain missing.
Authorities say rescue and clearance operations will continue in the coming days, with hope fading for those still trapped under the debris.
