India Postpones Space Docking Experiment

India has announced a two-day delay in its highly anticipated Space Docking Experiment (SpaDeX).

Originally scheduled for Tuesday morning, the experiment will now take place on Thursday, according to a statement by the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO).

“The docking process requires further validation through ground simulations after an aborted scenario was identified earlier today,” ISRO stated, without providing additional details.

The SpaDeX mission, launched on December 30 aboard the Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV-C60), involves two 220-kg satellites, SDX01 (Chaser) and SDX02 (Target), designed to demonstrate autonomous docking capabilities in space.
