Cyberattacks Hit Milan Airport Websites
Italian police announced on Saturday that they are investigating a series of cyberattacks claimed by a pro-Russian hacker group. The attacks targeted multiple websites, including Milan's Malpensa and Linate airports, the foreign ministry, and transportation systems in Siena and Turin.
According to Marco Valerio Cervellini, a spokesperson for the national cybersecurity police, the pro-Russian group NoName057(16) has claimed responsibility for the breaches in a post on Telegram.
The group, notorious for targeting public institutions and critical sectors in NATO countries supporting Ukraine, continues to draw attention for its cyber activities amid the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict.
