The Meteorological Forecasting Division has reported the partial influence of a westerly low-pressure system across the country, leading to slight weather changes in the hilly regions. While most parts of the country continue to experience clear weather, some areas in the Terai have been affected by light fog.

According to the Division, this afternoon’s weather will remain partly cloudy in the hilly regions, whereas the rest of the country will enjoy fair conditions. A similar pattern is expected tonight, with partial cloud cover in the hills and clear skies elsewhere.

In the next 24 hours, light snowfall is likely at one or two locations in the high hills and mountainous areas of Koshi, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces. Additionally, light fog is expected in some parts of the Terai on Friday morning. The Division has advised the public to remain cautious of potential impacts due to foggy conditions.
