The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast fair weather across much of the country, with a partial influence of westerly and local winds affecting hilly regions. 

This afternoon, skies will be partly to generally cloudy in Koshi, Bagmati, and Gandaki provinces, where light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is possible. 

High-altitude areas in Koshi and Gandaki may experience light snowfall. Cloudy conditions with isolated showers are also expected in Bagmati and Gandaki tonight.
